We find ourselves in Torah

A statement repeated by many a Rabbi

Where was the Lone Ranger without Tonto’s guidance?

And so, where are The Lone Strangers’ (whose ancestors were strangers in a strange land) and their Tontos?

In form and function, the synagogue and its pulpit Rabbis cannot be Tontos delivering guiding personalized individualized meaning  to 200-400-600 individuals and families lives IN side out to find themselves in the Torah given the myriad of other requirements (lifecycle events, services, going into the community, fund raising etc).

Therefore, there is little or no time for the pulpit rabbi to be a Concierge of Meaning© – the guide – Tonto thru Torah (its burning bush, the parting of the Sea of Reeds, Sinai etc) to find oneself in Torah – INside out.

The Mishkan, in the desert, required whether rich poor – have, have not, have a little want some more – each to contribute a half shekel – no more no less. Today’s Synagogues cannot subsist (as proven by annual fund raisers etc etc) on dues alone. Consequently, more time – and necessarily so – is spent overall with those (ganzer machers) who give disproportionately for the support the synagogue.

In the Judaism on Purpose™ model (in particular The Jews of Meaning© program) by design the Rabbi’s sole function is to be A Concierge of Meaning© assisting re-igniting meaning IN each’s life INside out concurrent to personalization of  finding themselves in The Torah etc. Given the objective of no more than 7 groups of seven meeting weekly and each individual meeting once a month ‘for a meaning checkup and rating’ with the Rabbi – there is custom tailoring to each that because of form and other functions the synagogue is not designed to deliver. Furthermore, in the Jews of Meaning© program of Judaism On Purpose™ following the concept of the half shekel – the monthly payment is the same for rich or poor, have or have not as well as have a little want some more — so that all count in finding oneself in Torah.
